Introduction | Hello and welcome to My 24-Hour Office, the official blog for My 24-Hour Office. My 24-Hour Office provides virtual business support services for entrepreneurs, business owners and individuals alike and I am "super-excited and passionate" about interacting with other entrepreneurs. The goal of Coffee and Comments is to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to build an on-going dialogue with each other to share knowledge and connect through experiences -- good and not so -- and to motivate others who are looking for ways to get started. As Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul says in part, "Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles...Get started now. |
Interests | Reading about and watching videos on the success stories of entrepreneurs and applying some of those same principles in building my own "businesses". Learning how others overcame obstacles and worked diligently to reach their goals has proved to be very inspiring not only personally but it let's me know that so many of us hear a different beat. Not the "9-to-5 blues" but the "smooth sound of creativity". It is "that beat" that keeps me going and makes me realize that there are no limits to what I can achieve if I simply keep moving. |
Favorite movies | Limitless, My House in Umbria, Ladies in Lavender, Bread and Tulips, A Walk in the Clouds, Commitments and all of the Twilight sagas. On TV - Cedar Cove on the Hallmark Channel. {I've got balance out the tech side somehow}. |
Favorite music | All things Josh Groban, Alecia Keys, Adele, Smooth Jazz, Holiday Music (anytime of the year); recently re-discovered New Age music and talk radio. Also -- not necessarily music but "super motivational audio" -- "Shoot for the Moon" by Les Brown, any message by Joel Osteen, and the CD Series "GO" by T.D. Jakes. |
Favorite books | Titan-The Story of John D. Rockefeller, Sr., by Ron Chernow; Ashes in the Wind by Kathleen Woodwiss (Romance), Making a Living Without a Job by Barbara Winter (a favorite go-to resource), anything on finances, self-improvement, interior decorating and entrepreneurship. |
