| Introduction | I use to be a white collar professional, always hated my job and dreamed of going into the golf business. A twist of fate and a little luck landed me working in the lap of a premier public course in the northeast. I'm going to try to use generic names and descriptions so I don't give my identity away. Too much specific detail would blow my cover. I'm going to try to muse on everyday events on the job and in my life that some my find funny or interesting to those in the business who can relate. Golfers and other humans are a strange breed. You think you've seen it all and then a new day brings another clueless wack-job, whether that be in management or a customer. I can't vent to my wife, for she doesn't care, nor gets it, so I decided to do this. How often I vent will be dictated on what I see and have time to report. |
