| Introduction | This blog is all about my journey living and working in Moshi, Tanzania. This process began before I moved to Moshi in July 2006 and continues as I have been living here six and a half years. I like to write blogs about the kids here at Treasures of Africa Children's Home and about life in Tanzania and the fun things about living in a different culture. The children have become a huge part of my life here. I have fallen in love with them and each day they bring something new and fun to life. God has truly blessed me. |
| Interests | Living in Tanzania has taught me a lot about living simple. We don't have those things in the U.S. that keep people "entertained" so I have developed an interest in cooking (from scratch) and enjoy trying to come up with recipes of foods that I miss...there is a lot of creativity involved with my cooking, which makes it a lot of fun! |
| Favorite Music | Keith Green will always rank at the top! His music had a powerful influence on my life growing up and continues to inspire me today! The message in his music is timeless and life-changing. |
| Favorite Books | Biographies. I love reading about people with great faith and enduring persistence for those things God has placed on their hearts. |
