| Introduction | Musician and artists have a unique mission in the composite of human culture. It is time that we come to our own. We are admired and at the same time reviled yet there are few who do not envy the genius that is the earmark of the artist. As the physician speaks to the physical wellbeing so too do we speak to the intellectual wellbeing. We are the indispensible bridge that crosses every cultural barrier and with impunity lifts humanity from the dungeon of daily vicissitudes up to the heights of passion and ethereal bliss. For through us humanity comes to know itself; to realize that we are more than worker bees much more. We are the quintessential expression of matter and energy and our destiny proscribes limits. |
