Introduction | I'm not sure how to describe myself; poet, editor, wanderer? Maybe all of the above... I graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a degree in English and Creative Writing and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa my junior year. My collection of essays from a cross country road trip, entitled "Ten Thousand Miles of Bugs," earned me the Creative Writing award from St. Mary's in 2002. I played volleyball and swam at the college and was inducted into the athletic hall of fame in 2008. My writing has appeared in scattered places like everydaypoets.com, marketingprofs.com, The Mulberry Tree, and the United Nations Counsel on Aging. This blog is really the first time I've sent my poetry out to the world, and it is scary. So thank you for reading; just the thought of you out there makes me feel like I've come a long way... |
