Introduction	I have written some 43 books on design, decorating and architecture published on both sides of the Atlantic and in translation in many other countries. I had the first decorating and design television show called Home and Design which aired in the 70s on ITV in the UK. On PBS, two decades later I hosted the first design series in the USA. Decorating clients have included Katie Couric, Liam Neeson and the late Natasha Richardson, Scott Rudin, Gloria Steinem (with Philippa Naess);Jane Gelfman and the late Sam Cohn, Drs Steve Udem and Sharon Nathan and many others. I have lectured widely in the US, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the UK and Dubai. I'm currently living between Provence and England with fairly regular visits to NY and Sydney and Auckland. i've been Design Consultant for for the franchise decorating company, Decor & You all over the USA, since their inception, some 15 years ago and am an equally long time member of the NY School of Interior Design Advisory Board.
