| Introduction | My name is Tal. I am 19. I am a student and blogger from Syria. I was arrested by the Syrian Intelligence Services on 27 December 2009 and I am still imprisoned because of the articles and letters I have written in my blogs. I have been denied basic human rights to have my family aware of my whereabouts and a lawyer to defend me.
