| Introduction | I am a 20 year-old daydreamer who was brought up loving books. This love of reading and writing led me to major in English at UC Irvine, where I am currently in my third year, and to work at a bookstore. One very important thing about me is my faith in Christ. Because of my faith, I enjoy finding religious themes in novels and do not like novels with themes or scenes I find graphic or offensive. This is not because I feel that I am better than those who do read or write them, but because I read for enjoyment and fulfillment, and these topics are neither enjoyable or fulfilling to me. With that said, I hope that this blog, which will chronicle my journey through fiction and literature, will help you decide if these books I describe, recommend, or warn about are for you. |
