| Introduction | --> CFAN (Campus Feminist Action Network) was established in April of 2006 by a group of socially conscious students at the University of Regina. The group’s main goal is to act as a catalyst for social change, both on and off campus. CFAN takes action against social injustices at the levels of campus, provincial, regional, national and international politics. --> CFAN speaks out against sexism, racism, homophobia/heterosexism, classism, and ableism. We recognize that these forms of oppression – in all their various manifestations – affect and inhibit the lives of women and other oppressed social groups. Action, for CFAN, consists of nonviolent methods of protest and dissent. |
