| Introduction | Married. My tinnitus started in earnest and really dug it's heels in whilst I was studying Pharmacology. I was also amidst trying to work out if half the physiological crap that was going on was, exam stress, or side effects of the drug titration I was on. Why Tinnitus Bitch? Well, because this constant unwanted soundtrack to my life can make me such an unbelievable cow, when others do not respect the effort required to concentrate to complete a task with the accompaniment of T and just STFU..please! Life with T is multi-tasking. In sport they give you a secondary task to test your aptitude at the primary task (long time sports instructor, trust me..), people with T end up with bloody amazing coping strategies... Also, Tinnitus bitch because, I spent ten months questioning my sanity before a lovely lady at our Tinnitus Clinic spent 3 hrs listening to all the poison that I spewed forth regarding this beastly noise in my head. She listened to all of it....no matter how crazy or inane. I can't be the only one who needs the occasional tinnitus bitch... |
