| Introduction | I graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut in 2006 and became a Christian at the age of 19. I cite the liberty in Christ mentioned in Galatians 5:1 as influencing my belief in the need to grant personal freedom to Americans. I would classify myself as a social conservative who believes the political action of social conservative has damaged the movement. I believe the life, liberty and traditional values are best protected when government has little to no involvement, rather than being tasked with their promotion. I had the privilege of serving as Sponsorship Director for the "Rally for the Republic," a three day grassroots event in Minneapolis, Minnesota which kicked off Ron Paul's, "Campaign for Liberty," an organization founded to promote individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. In the summer of 2008 I co-authored, "Who is the Real Barack Obama?" which focused on the words and legislative action of the then junior Senator from Illinois. I credit the Bible and the writings of James Madison and John Stossel as the forces most behind the formation of my political philosophy. |
