Introduction | Poetry has stirred me since, at the age of 5 years old I heard read The 'Listeners' by Walter De La Mare. Since then I have delighted myself with poetry from around the world...and I keep the company of poets to this day. After living a short time in England, I returned to Northern Ireland at the age of 16 years old. I lived there until four years ago, when I returned to England. As well as being a Psychotherapist, I have had the pleasure of being involved in writing and publishing of various types for most of my life. Now I've reached an age where, having sifted all I've seen and heard and been sucked in by media hype and slick marketers I now have the will to counter their slickly oiled machine, with my own less than sweet sugar. My favourite leisure activity is meeting with friends and sharing my opinions about recent publications, films, plays and anything else that the Media throws at us. I have an amazing partner who raps off my endless banter with her own positive and up-beat view of the world. |
