| Introduction | I am a musician teaching myself to be a luthier. I have played guitar for most of my life and spent fifteen years in the Texas band SAGE. I have worked in a number of other music-related venues as well; this includes private music teaching, music retailing, and music therapy at a state psychiatric hospital. I enjoy writing songs, playing a variety of instruments, and listening to music. I originally began this blog to record my progress in learning the art and craft of the luthier. My goal is to rework twelve bolt-on electric guitars in a quest to create the perfect-sounding guitar. |
