Introduction	In August, 2016 I moved into a fabulous townhouse in Abbotsford BC. from a 5-Acre farm that my husband Bill and I had bought in 1998. We had moved there from a 2-bedroom condo in Vancouver to be down the street from our daughter, her hubby and our two grandsons, then aged 5 and 6. Farm life was a complete 180 switch for both of us, and for the first few years it was a fun and challenging adventure. But in 2009 Bill was diagnosed with dementia. Two years later I retired from The Kidney Foundation where I was the Communications Manager and in 2013 Bill passed away. I stayed on the farm for two more years, adjusting to his loss and giving thought to my future. Writing this blog has very helpful in that process. The move to the townhouse has given me the new lease on life that I needed. I'm volunteering with the Aldergrove Rotary Club, planning to increase my writing profile and spending time teaching Duchess, my standard poodle, townhouse manners. She still thinks she lives on a farm!

Favorite books	I was given a Kobo e-book when I retired, and I love downloading books, either from the library, or as a purchase.
