Introduction Chris Trudeau is an associate professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He teaches Legal Research & Writing, and he is particularly interested in logical reasoning, advancing empirical support for arguments, and promoting clarity in legal writing. In addition to teaching, Professor Trudeau has practical experience in a wide range of legal matters including labor and employment law, immigration law, family law, and consumer law. Professor Trudeau is also dedicated to public service. In 2007, he won the Capital Area United Way Volunteer of the Year Award for starting a pro bono clinic at a hispanic community center in Lansing, Michigan. Politically, Professor Trudeau favors common-sense, results-driven politics that transcends partisanship, yet preserves the freedoms that so many American's have fought for. In fact, this blog was created with that vision in mind.
