| Introduction | The Atlanta Animal Studies Group is a recently formed group of faculty members from several Atlanta colleges and universities. The aim of the group is to explore, in a scholarly manner, the cultural and ethical relationship between humans and non-humans. Of particular interest to the group is the topic of human exploitation of nonhumans in entertainment (zoos and aquaria) and the representation of nonhumans in art and other cultural activities. |
