Introduction	I process my world both visually and verbally, in equal parts. I have a day job at the American Philosophical Society (APS) Museum where I spend days happily thinking, looking, and writing. The rest of the time I try to make my own art work but am often too tired. I want it all. My visual blog--lots of pics, not much text--used to be called Synaesthetica, but no one could spell it. So now it's called Knitting While Sleeping, which I actually have been observed doing.
Interests	Color, textiles, gardening, knitting, domestic architecture and interior design, dogs, photography, decorative arts, entertaining movies that don't make me think too much, non-fiction books, people's inner workings.
Favorite Music	All Bach all the time.
