| Introduction | 10 years as a NYC public school teacher and there are still days when I have to say, "I mean, really?" This can be billed as one of the greatest and most rewarding professions OR...well, let's not go there. I come from a family of educators. My mom taught in day care, my brother taught adult learners, one daughter teaches in middle school. I have a son in the field of higher education, another daughter who teaches adult learners. The list continues as I have many children (I have been affectionately adopted by tons of daughter's friends) that are in the field of education in some capacity. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy working with children and helping them go and grow through different learning experiences. AND...I absolutely love learning from children. |
