| Introduction | Growing up in a little romantic village, I spent many hours exploring the forests, picking wild strawberries, or helping the surrounding farms with their everyday chores of baking bread in the community oven or gathering grass and hay for the animals. On stormy days, when rain would wash down the streets, flooding the low-lying fields there was nothing like sloshing home in water- filled rubber boots -truly one of life’s great moments. Living out in the country taught me many things about the simple life, and the importance of looking for the small, seemingly insignificant details that make all the difference. Sharing my artwork was one of my bigger dreams – and having the opportunity to work as a professional artist has become a reality for me. I’ve been places I never thought I’d be. I’ve seen sunsets I would otherwise have never experienced. And I’ve encountered many, many wonderful people along the way. Art has enabled me to go beyond my dreams - come along and join the fun!
