| Introduction | I am a 43 year old lesbian living in the Seattle area. I just came out a couple years ago and it's been a challenge to be accepted in my new life and I have basically abandoned my old life. I am single by choice and have been since March of this year. I have learned over the past several months that I have dissociative identity disorder. It used to be called multiple personality disorder.
