I've taught elementary school in public schools, and in two schools for American Indians: Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Santa Fe Indian School, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. At the University of Illinois, I taught Children's Literature, Social Studies Methods (Elementary and Early Childhood), Politics of Children's Literature, Intro to American Indian Studies, and History of American Indian Education. |
