Introduction	I grew up on the East Side of Milwaukee spending a large portion of my formative years in coffee shops and down at the lake front. I lived in Madison for four years while going to school and now live with my wife, daughter and two dogs in Denver, Colorado.
Interests	Traveling to remote corners of the globe whenever possible (which seems to be less and less frequent lately), bicycling, hiking, changing diapers here in Colorado and elsewhere, working in my yard, having coffee with my morning paper, walking the dogs, beer, bourbon, gin, scotch, live music,trivia, and of course, my family.
Favorite movies	The Godfather (parts I & II), The Departed, Hud, Goodfellas, Fletch, The River's Edge, The Wire, Wild at Heart, Swingers, The Maltese Falcon, No Country for Old Men, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Cool Hand Luke, just about any John Wayne Western.
Favorite music	Alt. country, Robert Earl Keen, Neko Case, Jesse Dayton, Slobberbone, The Railbenders, The Pogues, The Clash, The Smiths, Bill Monroe, Del McCourey.
Favorite books	The Grapes of Wrath, The Rivers Ran East, The Painted Bird, The Comedians, Jupiter's Travels, Eastward to Tartary, The Crossing, anything by Pat Buchanan, Hunter S Thompson or Ed Abbey.
