Introduction | I have loved things of the earth since I was a child. My Mom made being an organic kid look easy. So we went to local farms, butchers, and we had a garden that had to be worked in our yard. I loved the way my Mom took care of us. She taught me the earth and the things from it are keys to balance in life. So her teachings have always stayed with me. They are the pieces of her that I carry with me always. My Mom’s teaching of essence and balance has always and will always stay with me. This is why aromatherapy has become a passion for me. The essences provided in plant, bark, and animals are the essences of life. So as a therapist you are responsible for the sharing of a journey of essences with your clients. Essences are the tools that can change the direction of thought, behavior, and habit. My journey to learn about aromatherapy started many years ago in LA. This led me to the beginning of my formal education in aromatherapy. I study aromatherapy at the American College of Health Sciences. My vision is to teach, experience, and live filled with balance and teach the principles of balance using aromatherapy to my clients. |
