Introduction	I am a third generation Pacific Northwest resident and graduate of the Evergreen State College (MES). I am now happily married and mom to two girls. I started a blog about hiking, "A Walk in the Woods" two years ago, but since entering motherhood I have not been able to do very much hiking. Since I am now a full time mom with friends that tease me about using cloth diapers and making my own soap "Somewhat of a Hippy Mom" was born. Living in Portland I am able to learn things from many other somewhat hippy moms and hope to share some of these things. Being a new mom I am learning a lot as I go.
