| Introduction | 21 years in the military followed by work in both central and local government and in the private sector. Right of Centre politically and accept (somewhat grudgingly) the realities of the 80/20 rule in a MMP Parliament. Conservative on economic policy and centrist on social issues. Never had anything handed to me on a plate and a believer in personal responsibility. Wake up every morning and glad to be alive in the Bay of Islands which is an idyllic part of the country. Travel often but still get a buzz when we fly back in to NZL. |
