I’m an avid Dave Ramsey fan and broke nonprofit executive (sometimes I call myself a “negative-profit executive”). To save money, I calculate the mix of ingredients used in every meal I cook, and I enjoy discussing alternative ingredient combinations with my sisters to come up with an equally tasty, but more economically affordable version of the same meal. This blog is not going to have the flowers, long descriptions, or emotional anecdotes that you will find in actual mommy blogs (although it might have “flours.” Ha! Dad jokes. Classic!). But hopefully the meal cost analyses, done in a detailed, budget-conscious way, will save you as much money as it has saved me. |
