| Introduction | Bo Nicholson’s roots in Raleigh, North Carolina, have shaped his personal and professional life. Growing up with his two brothers, William and Henry, Raleigh instilled in Bo a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for the values of hard work, collaboration, and integrity. After completing high school, Bo moved to Athens, Georgia, to pursue his college education at the University of Georgia. He graduated in 2010 from the Terry College of Business. During his time at UGA, his passion for music led him to join Mama’s Love, a rock band that toured the Southeastern U.S. and recorded original music at Southern Ground in Atlanta. Working with the legendary producer John Keane, he learned firsthand about dedication, teamwork, and the power of pursuing a shared vision—lessons that have carried over into his financial career. Though Bo eventually transitioned from music as a full-time pursuit, his connection to the art form remains strong. He continues to perform with Steamroom Etiquette, a local cover band in Raleigh and occasionally reunites with his former bandmates for special performances. |
