| Introduction | Daya was a school drop-out drifter, doing much reading and having various life experiences for years before becoming a parent in 1995, a sole parent since 2001 and moving towards and into unschooling since then. He is involved in environmental work, has delved deeply and long term into the Chinese kung fu systems of tai chi and wing chun. Daya has had many wake-up calls, not the least being Lyme disease contracted from a tick bite in late 2011, which spurred a total re-evaluation of his life. Daya has always been introspective, knew his field is creative writing by 5 years of age, yet decided in his teen years he needed life experience first before writing about it, and this story constitutes his first outpouring of work. |
