|Occupation||On-call librarian for non-profits|
|Introduction||After spending eight years as a librarian working with research about media and child health, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the commercialization of childhood. Now that I’m a mom, I have to integrate the academic knowledge I have with the realities of commercialization in the lives of my two young boys. As a guest blogger for CCFC, I hope to explore these challenges and learn about other parents’ success and struggles in raising their kids commercial-free.
As the owner of Knowledge Linking, I act as an “on-call librarian” for non-profits, writers and the research-phobic. To learn more, visit www.knowledge-linking.com or follow me on Twitter @KnowldgeLinking
