| Introduction | After spending eight years as a librarian working with research about media and child health, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the commercialization of childhood. Now that I’m a mom, I have to integrate the academic knowledge I have with the realities of commercialization in the lives of my two young boys. As a guest blogger for CCFC, I hope to explore these challenges and learn about other parents’ success and struggles in raising their kids commercial-free.
