| Introduction | d grew up in Hong Kong where he attended various primary and secondary schools. He moved to The United States for university where he studied aeronautics and earned his FAA pilot license (PPL, S&ME) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. Upon graduating, he joined the Army to be all he could be. d was a voice interceptor and cryptologic linguist and became fluent in Arabic. After six years and two deployments to Iraq with the 3rd Infantry Division, he left the Army but continues to serve his country's government as a private citizen. He lives in Tampa, Florida with his wonderful wife. d enjoys global affairs, aviation, practicing violin, fine dining, Formula 1, and the two dogs he shares with his wife. Among his dislikes are bigots, most aspects of the general public, mainstream media, and children. His favorite books are 1984, Catch 22, Animal Farm, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Seven Pillars of Wisdom. His favorite movies are The Life Aquatic, Lost in Translation, Brazil, Lawrence of Arabia, and Blade Runner. |
