Introduction	On November 4th I worked at the polls. The excitement, hope and awe of what was happening to change our country was palpable. We comforted two women on two separate occasions who cried as emotion overtook them. I've never seen people so touched by the privilege and the enormity of what they were doing.
Interests	Writing, reading, scrapbooking, remembering, thinking.
Favorite movies	When Harry Met Sally, The Jane Austen Book Club, The African Queen, The Godfather I and II, Moonstruck, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Four Weddings and A Funeral.
Favorite music	Classical, blues, jazz.
Favorite books	The Awakening, Clay's Quilt, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Bel Canto, Simple Abundance, A Lesson Before Dying, With a Hammer For My Heart, 19 Varieties of Gazelle, Gods of Noonday: A White Girl's African Life, Ahab's Wife, Adam Bede.
