I started working in restaurants in 1976, migrated to Miami in 1978 and started working in 1981 in Miami Dade. I became an American Culinary Federation Certified Working Chef in 1990. My resume includes: Kings Bay Yacht and Country Club in the mid 80’s, 6 years working for Mark Militello at Marks Place and Marks Los Ollas, 13 years at Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club, where I presently work as AM Kitchen Supervisor.
I was born and raised in Iowa where I spent most of my time working and playing on family farms. I have been growing organic produce for over 20 years. I am currently the owner and operator of “The Lettuce Farm”.
