About me

Location At the end of the Oregon Trail, United States
Introduction I have sewn since I was sitting next to my Mother at her sewing machine. She was hand me scraps and I would hand stitch anything. Since then, I find my own scraps and sew anything I have Tole and Oil painted in combination for 25 years. I collect just about anything to paint on. I love old wood, nails, fabric, laces, dumpster diving, garage and estate sales. Our garage is full and so is my craft room of wonderful finds. I am a Master Gardener for the Oregon State Extension services. We have a country acre to spread the flowers and fishing boats on. I have just discovered needle felting and all the wonderful and yummy yarns out there. I have gotten bit by the soft doll bug. This ties into all my other crafts. Now I hope to add paper mache and sculpting to my collection of obsessions. Oh, by the way, I am an RN on the side. I would at a specialty clinic that is only 3 miles down the hill from home. I am a 1st time Grandmother of a most wonderful little girl. I am going to teach her to be craft obsessive tooo!!
