InterestsMy testimony: I have a blessing of being brought up in a Christian family. My early education is in Mission Schools, and Mission universities. From age five, I have an awareness of God, and I know Jesus loves me and this is the deep impression in my heart. My heart from very young age wanted to please God, so I attended Sunday Schools, Vocational Bible Schools and memorized Scriptures. Every Sunday after church services my parents wanted us to memorize Scriptures from Psalms and narrate it, before we sit down as a family for lunch. When I was 13 years of age, I professed in front of people in my home church, my faith in Jesus Christ and my desire to follow Him all my life. This was the beginning of my new life in Christ Jesus. As I moved out for further education, my mum would ask me to read the Book of Proverbs and that kept me growing in the Lord, in a proper church even while I was away from home. With this firm foundation on God’s Word, I could face tremendous struggles, and challenges and God proved Himself very faithful beyond my imaginations. I could attribute all my educational and professional success for the unseen Hand of God, and I began to trust Him even in the most impossible life circumstances. My prayer right now will be that God’s will be done in my life for His glory and honour, and the ‘avalanche of events’ around me will not deflect my focus and hope in Jesus Christ. My heart explodes with a great passion and deep desire to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more and more with each passing moment. I want to live for Him each moment and do not want a single minute to pass by without giving my best for Him. “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor;” Phil 1:21-22. It is a great blessedness to know that God has never left us as orphans and so I can confidently say, “He must increase and I must decrease” Jn 3:30.
