Introduction Paul Anderson is a native Texan, who relocated to Hemet, California in 2002. His love for drawing, painting, photography and writing began at a young age through the encouragement of his parents. It was at this early age that he would sit for hours putting imagination to canvas and paper with the guidance of wonderful teachers, both artistic and academic. Due to his deafness, he is able to convey through mixed media and writing his energy and passion for life. He is greatly influenced by his West Texas heritage, with its open ranges, high skies, beautiful arrangement of clouds and the richness of its history. In regards to his artwork, artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Maurice de Vlaminck, as well as Peter Hurd and photographer, Ansel Adams have been influential. Paul has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Administrative Education from Grand Canyon University.
