| Introduction | Who would have thought that your hobby could be your tool to create impact on others across the nation? Mrs. Reshyl del Pilar a.k.a. “Maam Shy” a licensed agriculturist, an educator, and the creator behind the Youtube channel “The AgriculTURO”, started to upload videos on her YouTube Channel way back November 26, 2019 right after her birthday. Initially, the channel’s name was “The Agriculturist” just to share her knowledge about agriculture. However, her passion on agriculture and the fascination on making videos flickered when people started to notice its value. With the growing audience who supported and interested in the videos, Prof. Faustito Aure, the Director of Extension Services evoked the title “The AgriculTURO.” As a full-time faculty and Extension Agent of Eastern Visayas State University-Burauen Campus, Ma’am Shy works have seen the potential of her channel and the platform to use it to amplify the message of their vision for the local farmers, students, and agriculture enthusiasts online. Since its conception, just almost 2 years after, it has now reached 6,500 subscribers and was able to monetize. |

| Favorite Movies | Creating interesting contents for the channel and are always up-to-date through live streaming every week keeps her audience glued. The exciting part is The AgriculTURO Channel’s audience is very engaged in suggesting topics that are relevant to them and the number of views speak for itself because of its increasingly interesting videos every week. Aside from the channel’s content about agricultural topics, she wants to make sure that she can help future agriculturists to pass the licensure exam especially those who cannot afford to pay for tutorial centers because of financial struggles. With over 9000 plus members on her Facebook group and 5, 443 followers on her page, she offers free online review, consultation, techniques, and materials. As posted on Facebook page, “We don’t need titles to change the world”, The AgriculTURO makes its way to the different sides of our nation to empower and educate the netizens using its platform, Youtube. We can also share to others whatever expertise we have to impact other people and to spread knowledge that can change their lives and make it better. Let’s be creative in sharing whatever is in our hands. |
