| Introduction | I am a retired CPA; retired when my first child was born 16 years ago. I love being home with my husband and children (2 daughters, age 16 and 12). I have known God and Jesus all my life (or so I thought), but started really getting to know them after Danielle, my oldest daughter, was born. And to this day, I can say that my faith grows deeper every single day. During 2011, I took on the challenge of reading God's Word in a year and my faith and my knowledge and my desire to know about Him and what He wants for me grow deeper daily. It was one of the best decisions that I ever made! I get so excited about what I learn from His Word every time I read it. I wish that I had started on this journey a long time ago. But I know that God's timing is perfect and I'm exactly where He wants me to be right at this moment. And I'm so thankful to Him for that daily! I titled my blog "Our Journey, His Destination" because although He gives us the ability to choose the way we Journey through life, I don't ever want to forget what my Destination is...to live with Jesus in His Kingdom throughout eternity...and to bring along as many people that I can! |
