Introduction | I'm a husband to an amazing partner, a dad of two incredible people, and a Pastor of a church that continues to surprise and engage me in ministry. I try to think deeply, love fully, and laugh often. |
Interests | Loving God, loving people, loving creation. I enjoy art (creating and viewing). I'm not a foodie, but I love good food. I like joy filled music, entertaining movies, engaging books, and most things sci-fi. I love to be outside in God's creation, but I don't do it enough. |
Favorite Movies | Casablanca, Star Wars (all of them), MCU (all of them), The American President, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, The Matrix (all +Animatrix), Anything with Bogart in it, The Princess Bride |
Favorite Music | I like things with a groove. That can be folk rock, Christian, old school rock, funk, punk, or R&B. I'm typically not a fan of Country or Rap. Lyrics are often as important as the sound, although sometimes I find myself singing along to things I don't like. Singing songs with my kids helps me realize that – sometimes a bit too late – but it can create some teachable moments! |
Favorite Books | The Bible, Lord of The Rings, Farenheit 451, Hitchhiker's Guide series, Long Earth Series, The Responsible Self and other various works by Niebuhr |
How is an ankle unlike a consequence?
With a consequence an action has been delivered, an ankle is more like a fulcrum which delivers action that results in consequence.
