| Introduction | After Twix got injured, I knew that one day I needed to tell his story and have written two books in his honor. My books are Twix's legacy, but also about my life with my dogs. Twix Runs Again and Oops, Twix Did It Again can be purchased on Amazon or anywhere you buy your books. They are also available on Audible. Currently, I am finishing book number three, Twix, The Final TaDA! I have been training for over 20 years. I opened my dog training business in 2007, but now I rarely take a client. I only train using clicker training and positive reinforcement. |
| Interests | Training my dogs to do tricks, canine freestyle, agility, and rally. I enjoy traveling to dog sporting events to do Fast CAT, Rally, and explore new places with my dogs. Prior to 2016, I was into helping others train their dogs and offered group classes. Then on Sept 24, 2016 my heart dog "Twix" injured his back catching a frisbee and needed emergency herniated disc surgery. After Twix's injury, I decided life is too short to work a full-time taching job and train dogs part time. I wanted to spend all my free time with my dogs and enjoying our lives together. Twix ended up needing a total of three herniated disc surgeries over the course of six years and lived a mobile, enriched life. He passed away March 16, 2024 at 14 years old. Now, I spend as much time playing, traveling, training, and loving on my four border collies (Wynnie, Honey, Story, and Flip). |
