| Introduction | Since 2007, I'm running for The Fred Hollows Foundation. I have covered over 15,000km in training and races guiding visually impaired runners in The Comrades 2010 and at the Sydney Marathon 2011. In the same time, The Fred Hollows Foundation carried out 784,378 sight-saving operations and treatments, looking into the eyes of 6,614,085 people. They supported training for 31,121 medical and support staff and provided hospitals and health programs with essential equipment to the value of $10,131,837 and constructed or renovated 119 eye health facilities, plus expanded their work in more than 55 Indigenous communities. All this would not have been possible with your continuous and generous support. Your support changes the lives of many. Thank you for making a difference! |
