| Introduction | I am studying for my MA in Magazine Journalism at Bournemouth Uni this year. I live with my boyfriend and a Malaysian couple in Bournemouth and have two pet rats. Before moving to Bournemouth I lived in Bristol for four years and did my undergraduate degree in film studies and media and cultural studies. Whilst at uni i became really interested in feminism which is why i blog about womens issues so much. I love Janet Street Porter and Germaine Greer. As a result of studying film for so long i can no longer watch a film without analysing it and getting annoyed over the negative representations of women they frequently display. I prefer world cinema to Hollywood films, which usually bore and irrate me. |
