| Introduction | I am a 35 year old mother.. Who is currently healing from a lifelong (unknown) Gluten Intolerance. And secondary auto immune disease, Lupus. With a never ending history of medical issues, misdiagnosis, possibly unneeded surgeries and many painful years of being sick and feeling isolated I am happy to say that I/we are on the mend. My son (who is six) has been through such a major ordeal that lasted about 2 1/2 years which ultimately lead to his Celiac diagnosis and finally the answer to my illnesses as well. We are currently trying to eliminate many common food allergens to see if it can improve other issues that my son is experiencing. At this point we are Gluten/wheat, Dairy, Casein, Soy, Peanut, Corn and Egg free. His story and mine will be posted at some point soon. It's one that I am sure many can relate to and needs to be told... It may be too early to write my son's story just yet. Right now we are focusing on the good and all of the wonderful days of health and spring that we have together being now 1 year Gluten Free.. |
