Introduction | I am a 4th generation Arizonan. My ancestors were pioneers who came to Arizona in the 1880s in covered wagons and started ranching in Navajo County. I grew up in Mesa, Arizona, graduated from Arizona State University, work in central Phoenix, and live in Paradise Valley/Scottsdale. I love to travel, having visited more than 60 countries on 6 continents. My husband and I collect art, particularly Native American, Mexican, Oaxacan, Argentine, Peruvian, European, Chinese, and Tibetan art. I have been active in many civic causes in the Phoenix area, and hope through this Scottsdale Daily Photo site to share my love of Arizona, both for those who live elsewhere and for residents of the Valley of the Sun. |
Interests | I love travel, art, photography, antiques, reading, alternative rock music, rock music, world music, live music, the desert and mountains, rocks (yes I can never come back from a walk without finding a cool rock to take home), and carding |
Favorite Movies | I like action and adventure movies and movies with good special effects. I also like foreign films and documentaries. |
