By night, I pore over the absurdities of American political life. My scholastic credentials include postgraduate degrees from France and the US in international politics and law. In my view, the best thing about New Zealand is the mince and cheese pie. For some reason, no matter how hard the United States tries, it simply cannot understand how mince, gravy, cheese and pastry all fit together. That's it. After I'm done with this blog, I'm opening up a pie shop.
