Introduction I was raised by single mom in rural Massachusetts with two older brothers and spent much of my time playing sports and reading. After high school, I received my bachelors from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Science & Technology Studies, my masters in Information Systems Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, and finally my doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University. My career started at Arthur Andersen in management consulting and then continued onto Prudential Financial, where I became a Director of Information Systems. I took 10 years off to raise my three children then re-entered the workforce as a adjunct math professor. After realizing how many students I could reach by being an educator, I went on to earn my certifications to teach K-12 Technology, Science, and Math. Currently, I am leading the MakerSpace initiative at the Mount Olive Middle School, teaching Innovation & Design and Digital Development, and presenting at conferences regarding the use of technology in education.
