Introduction Alyson Drake is the Instructional Services Librarian at Fordham Law School's Maloney Law Library and is an expert on implementing science-backed strategies for successful learning in legal research education. She has taught both first year and advanced research courses for the last eight years and publishes regularly in the area of legal research pedagogy. Prof. Drake has spoken on the intersection of legal research instruction and cognitive theory and national and regional conferences across the United States.
