| Introduction | My name is Rachel Weber. This is my art blog where I can gush art and post some art. I have loved drawing and painting since I was a mite and am a fully self taught artist. I am blessed to be able to find time to paint amidst raising two young rascals whom I adore. I paint daily but I won't sacrifice my children for it and so they come first. Which means that it is more of an every third daily type painty thing. Being one of those of the artzy types, I'm relatively scatterbrained and love to drift over to the stress free zone in the right side of my head. Painting is a pure expression of my mind and sketching is how I connect with life. Words don't always work for me, and I often forget words and usually don't finish sentences... and when I look like I'm not paying attention I am probably not. But my mind is alive elsewhere and I am seeing. Truly seeing...tracing the light on a nearby cup or door handle, or following the shadows on a face.
