About me

Industry Arts
Location Vermont, United States
Introduction I am a 49 year old woman who has been schizoaffective since the age of 19. I do not hear voices or hallucinate. I want to work. The most sophisticated and challenging way to use my mind is to make art. I work on art during the precious hours of clear mental concentration I have in the morning. Because of my illness, I had to stop art school after one semester. So I consider myself self-taught. If you want to see a gallery of my latest art visit my website at karenmaysorensen.com.
Interests reading romantic junk, reading fine literature, watching old black and white movies, visiting art museums, long walks, the sea shore, fancy clothing, eating fried clams, eating strawberries and cherries, sleeping with my cat, kissing my husband

When you spilled the milk, did it look like the moon?

A very long time ago, I once thought that the world could get rid of all its nuclear weapons if every country with missiles would target the moon, launch into space, and blow the moon up. I was very sad that the moon had to be sacrificed for the world to be a safer place.
