Introduction Started in 2008, Dan Valyou, Jordan Janas, and Pier Marzocca developed the "Golden Eagle" UAV. It serves as a data acquisition platform for air and wind analysis. Also involved with the team is Associate Professor Suresh Dhaniyala and Adjunct Professor at Clarkson University and Assistant Professor at SUNY Canton Lin Tian. Within the past year of preparing the aircraft for the current campaign, undergraduate aeronautical/mechanical engineering majors Zack Koski, Shaun Coller, Matt Rossman, Ian Kraus, Nathan Torkaman, and Jonathan Fearer have joined the project team, specializing in various aspects of campaign requirements and aircraft systems.
