| Introduction | I began late - almost 60 - and found early publishing success and some very nice awards. Wrote a humor/human interest column for local paper for 15 years. (2005-2020). After my husband of 40 years died, I returned to work as Executive Director of the historic, award-winning, Struthers Library Theatre in Warren, PA, retiring in 2018. So then, back to career #6. Hoping to recreate myself again. These pages will contain many past columns and many new to come. I wall be elaborating more here in near future on careers 1 through 5. |
| Interests | Aging adventuress who is upset that the orthopedists won't let her bunji jump or sky dive. Even ballooning is discouraged. I only want to do them once! I guess I'll stay home with the not-so-wild day-lilies in the joy of summer . . . my much-too-big garden. Always loving to dine, sip and laugh with old friends and new. Adore visiting family when they arrive and occasionally dropping in on them in Lexington and Annapolis. Maybe there will be an occasional bridge game, wine tasting or Chautauqua lecture in between hitting the road for new places. Dear Richard, husband of almost seven years is Driver #1. Looking forward to soft spring and summer evenings on our deck with good friends, good books, and an occasional good gin and tonic. Bliss. |
